Our Goal as a Breeder
Breeders know that bloodlines determine a lot about the temperament, health and well being of the animals they provide. The breeds we select for our animals are not only certified but pass our inspection for how they are cared for not just physically, but emotionally as well. We believe that if the newborn has a protective and happy environment during the first years of its life, then the higher the chance this will continue throughout the rest of their life with their new provider.
Genetics and Testing
From a genetic point of view, every dog is actually three things: the recessive genes, the substance of the living, breathing dog you can see and touch and the sum total of both dominant and recessive genes.
The importance of genes in pedigrees creates patterns of genetic activity for a desired result. Dominant traits do not skip generations and recessive traits may skip one or more generations and must be inherited from both the sides to be visible. Knowledge about genetic activity allows us as breeders to encourage desirable traits while avoiding those considered to be undesirable or unhealthy.

The mother is an AKC registered English Golden Retriever with crème coat from champion lines. She has been DNA tested by Embark for purity and health and can provide pedigree upon request.

The father is an AKC registered red and white large toy/small mini Parti Poodle and also has his Animal Genetics Poodle Panel and Penn hip clearances. He has both copies of the furnishing gene and does not carry the dilution gene. He has been DNA tested for purity and health.
